Basic principle of supercharger tuning is increasing the drive ratio of the supercharger. How does that work out? Here we go:
Drive ratio = Crank pulley diameter / Supercharger pulley diameter
Supercharger rpm = Crank rpm X Drive ratio
Higher drive ratio = Higher supercharger rpm relative to crank rpm = More airflow & higher boost = More engine power & instant torque!
For example, when your crank rpm is 4.000/min, and pulley drive ratio is 2, supercharger rpm will be 8.000/min.
Hint: Eaton M62 supercharger's factory rpm limit is 14.000/min. Nevertheless, based on empirical information, for your own risk (!), for short pulls you can rev the supercharger above the factory limit without the risk of serious damage (max. 16.000/min).
In order to serve your customized demands, we have blank performance pulleys in stock.
This means, when you place your order, you shall specify the desired pulley diameter between 59-84 mm, and we machine your pulley to the desired diameter.
For example, you can see a 76 mm pulley on the attached pictures.
For your information, stock Mercedes M62 electro-magnetic clutched pulley diameter is 93.5 mm.

DESIGN:
Pulley set was engineered in SolidEdge CAD software.
All parts were machined on cnc milling machine.
Inner ribs were
precisely machined via wire spark erosion technology.
MATERIALS:
- Pulley for 6PK drive belt: T6061 lightweight durable aluminum alloy, with bead blasted satin finish
- Ribbed center shaft drive disc: high tensile strength iron alloy, with black nitrided surface treatment (anti-corrosion attributes)
- Center ring: stainless steel alloy

This performance pulley set fully replaces the stock electro-magnetic clutched pulley assembly. More specifically, you will have to remove the complete stock electro-magnetic clutch assembly before mounting the performance pulley set.
This performance pulley set directly drives the supercharger shaft. Stock electro-magnetic clutched functionality will be unavailable, please consider this before buying.
