Description
Approx. 16 1/2" x 12" x 7 1/2". I believe this box was used to supply the town of Agawam, Massachusetts with ballots and other voting supplies back in the day. The label saw some water at one time and is quite stained, but still can be made out. "Agawam" is in pen written on the label as the town it was supposed to be delivered to. Has printed information about fines for delaying delivery. Estate fresh piece, distressed wooden box is a neat primitive. I couldn't begin to guess when this was from, but pretty old to deliver ballots in a wooden box. probably was sent by train part way.
