    Description

    This is a very nice Magnesium Bowers blower off of a Nitro motor. When was the last time you saw one of these? Very rare and Nostalgic. It is a 8-71. How do you tell if it is a 8-71 as opposed to the 6-71? The 8-71 has 16" long rotors and the 6-71 has 15" long rotors. This blower has the 16" long rotors. It spins over nice and is in good shape. Threads are good. Steel gears. All magnesium end plates, blower case, front cover. The rotors are hard anodized and they are teflon on the tips and the sides. Teflon is in decent shape but not fresh. About .008 on the bottom. The clearances from end plate to end plate is for Nitro or Methanol. Too tight for gasoline. The top bolts where the Enderle or Hilborn fuel injection would bolt down is the std. 13 1/4" center to center. This is just for the blower. No other parts.
